Girl, I can't understand it
Why you want to hurt me
After all of the things I've done for you
I buy you champagne, roses
And put diamonds on your fingers
But still you hang out all night
What am I to do
My girl wants to party all the time
Party all the time, party all the time
My girl wants to party all the time
Party all the time, she parties all the time
Whoooohooohoohoo
(party all the time)
She likes to party all the time
(party all the time)
Whoooohooohoohoo
(party all the time)
She likes to party all the time
(party all the time)
Girl I seen you at clubs, just hangin' out and dancing
You give your number to every man you see
You never come home at night because you're out romancin'
I wish you'd bring some of your love home to me
But my girl wants to party all the time
Party all the time, party all the time
My girl wants to party all the time

Like I always say what's good for the gaze
Is always good for the camera
Oh Sheila, oh, oh
Oh, baby, love me right
Let me love you till I get it right
Can't you let the others be
'Cause with you is where I got to be
Oh, sugar, where you been
Hangin' out with your male friends
Listen, somebody's going to hurt you
The way you love to keep hurting me
And we sing
Oh, oh Sheila, let me love you till the morning comes
Oh, oh Sheila, you know I want to be the only one
Oh, baby, understand that I want to be the only man
But it seems as though it's gettin' too hard
And I think I'll start to have my own friend
Oh, baby, it's plain to see
That you're qualified to fill my needs
I think you pulled one over on me
Honey, baby, just you wait and see
And we sing
Oh, oh Sheila, let me love you till the morning comes
Oh, oh Sheila, you know I want to be the only one
Oh, oh Sheila
Oh, oh Sheila...

So when you need a little peace of mind
Come on over boy, anytime
I'll keep you happy and so satisfied
In my house, in my house
So when you need some love and tenderness
And it's me baby that you miss
Here's the key to unlock the door
To my house (to my house)
wo-oo-oo-oo in my house
wo-oo-oo-oo in my house... | Played at party

Just watched this one a couple of days ago, and one of the people watching with me thinks that the Money for Nothing excerpt was sung by Johnny. It definitely wasn't the usual Dire Straits version.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about it being Johnny B singing. I listened to it just now and I don't hear any part of Mark's voice in it. The show (as far as I have determined) never has a song by Johnny B play where it's only part of the score, it's only ever when the characters are hearing his song also.
ReplyDeleteIt may be a different mix of Dire Straits maybe? Single versus album, or something like that. What do you or the other person think of the Dire Straits in episode 'Gina'? If the show could license one DS cut, why not two...?
